The Challenge
Port Harcourt's high humidity and rainfall (over 4,000mm annually) demanded exceptional waterproofing and corrosion protection. The client required completion in 12 months to coincide with the state's investment summit, leaving no schedule flexibility.
The Solution
NOTGATE specified marine-grade aluminium cladding and a multi-layer waterproofing system with 25-year guarantees. A fast-track construction sequence saw the shell completed in 7 months, allowing 5 months for MEP and fit-out. The rooftop conference centre was pre-fabricated off-site and craned into position in a single day.
